Kate is a patient and compassionate individual who wants to help cultivate a brighter future for generations to come. She takes great joy in helping to instill a lifetime love of learning in our communities youth. As a lifetime learner herself, children are some of her favorite teachers. Kate has over a decade of childcare experience. She has cared for children as young as infants and up to 10 years old. She realized it was her passion when working at a Montessori school. It feels like such an honor to watch a child discover a new interest and to be able to help them explore it further. She has worked under both AMI and AMS trained lead guides and hopes to complete her own Montessori training in the near future. She has a BS from UW- River Falls where she studied communications and sustainable justice. In her free time she enjoys cooking, crosswords, and chilling out with her cat, Maci. She loves to be outdoors and spends a lot of time biking and camping in our beautiful natural spaces.
