Meet the Staff at Sunny Hollow Montessori

Kristin has served as Special Education Teacher in several diverse educational environments: a postsecondary vocational and life skills program for students with learning differences, a K-12 classical charter school and a PreK-5 Saint Paul public school. She holds a master’s degree in Special Education and Work-Based Learning and a bachelor’s degree in Communication, and she is a licensed Academic and Behavioral Strategist. 

Kristin understands that trusted relationships between children and their teachers are the foundation from which academic, social and emotional success is achieved. She aims to meet each child on their own unique educational path and commits to walking beside them in support of achieving their highest potential. 

Kristin and her husband are the lucky parents of two wonderful teenagers. The four live in Mac-Groveland and share a home with Fig, a scrappy yet lovable rescue dog.
